Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony (Norfolk)

Please join us on Monday Morning, May 26th for this awesome community event, the 3rd annual!
This year, we have even more marchers and hope to have even more spectators! We have former Mayor Paul Fraim as our Grand Marshal, Mayor Kenneth Alexander participating as well as some City Council and other elected City Officials, Commonwealth elected officials, and well over a dozen organizations, including: the Cape Henry Model A Ford Car Club of Cape Henry, Shriners (large motorcycle-trikes), Maury NJROTC Drill Team, EVEN MORE BAGPIPES, Scouts, Sons & Daughters of the American Revolution, the Norfolk Public Library Mobile, Norfolk Fire Department, Norfolk Police Department (off duty), Candidates campaigning for office, local schools, and more!
We’ll then have a community festival on the Green Space of Larchmont United Church after the parade, including: free food/drink, ice cream, a 40 person orchestra, and around a dozen community information booths.
After that, our culminating event is a very brief wreath laying event to Honor the Fallen, so… PLEASE join us, tell you friends and neighbors, and help us indeed Honor the Fallen in the (awesome) way that Norfolk AND our awesome neighborhood can
