Hot Glass: Candy Dish at Chrysler Museum Glass Studio (Norfolk)

Sweeten your home décor with a colorful bowl that holds your favorite candy!
If you’re planning your first artistic experience at the Glass Studio, this course provides the perfect way to get acquainted. Learn how to navigate the Studio with molten glass at the end of a metal pipe, and try your hand at turning the pipe and adding color. Once you’ve applied your favorite color, use the reheating chamber to melt the colorful glass particles at 2100º.
Rolling classes every 15 minutes 10 – 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 – 5:30 p.m.

- $48 for Museum members, $60 for non-members
- Groups should select timeslots that are sequential to avoid overlapping experiences.
Glass objects must cool slowly in a kiln and will be available at a later date. We will contact you when your art is ready for pick up or shipment.
