Homeschool Forging Class (Chesapeake)

$30The class begins with an introduction to the art of blacksmithing. You’ll learn about the history and significance of this ancient craft, as well as the tools and techniques used by blacksmiths throughout the ages. The instructor will provide a demonstration to showcase the basic skills needed to work.
Safety is a top priority in the forging class. Before you start working with any tools or materials, the instructor will go over the essential safety guidelines.
Once you’re familiar with the basics, it’s time to get creative! Under the guidance of an experienced blacksmith, you’ll have the chance to design and forge your own metal hook.
Ages 7+
The class max is 4 participants. This is not a drop off class.
