Hampton for the Holidays: The Present at Hampton History Museum (Hampton)

December 13 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Celebrate the season with us for “Hampton for the Holidays” special event! The program curated by artist and event creator Msessipi, for the 7th year of our annual evening of holiday music, mirth, magic and merriment, we present “The Present,” in all its meanings.

As we approach this year’s holiday season, we are reminded of the profound gift that each moment brings. The theme for this year’s celebrations is “The Present.” This event invites our community to reflect on the continuous gift of life by encouraging everyone to be P R E S E N T: perceive, recognize, empathize, see, and embrace nuances thoughtfully.

According to Msesippi, “By focusing on the present, we emphasize the importance of living fully in the moment, cherishing the time we have together, and finding joy in the everyday experiences that define our lives. We believe this theme will foster a deeper sense of connection, mindfulness, and gratitude within our city, making this holiday season truly memorable.”

Joining Master of Ceremonies, Msesippi, alongside co-host Vivian Valentine, is “Funkmaster General” Unk Al, La Primavera Strings VA, Artist Dwight Easter, Visual Artistry Entertainment, performers The Darlings, musicians Phoenix Roebuck, Sean K Preston, Regina Scott Sanford,  Amy Ferebee, Windle Mcfly and Jeanette Sverresson, Magician Harold Wood, Hampton City Communications Coordinator  Mike Holtzclaw, Comedian Derrick A Brooks,  WVEC Channel 13 News anchor Dan Kennedy, and more talented group of performers and friends for a holiday variety show we like to call Hampton for the Holidays.

Beer and wine will be available for purchase. Proceeds benefit the Hampton History Museum. Admission is free to museum members, $5 for non-members. Admission is at the door. Doors open at 6:30 pm for this special event.
