Free Foster Parent Information Session (Virginia Beach)

FreeFree Foster Parent Information Meeting will be held in the Joint-Use Library Room L102 at TCC/City Joint-Use Library on May 13, 2025 at 5:45pm. Come learn about the critical need for foster parents in the Tidewater area. This session requires no commitment and will provide detailed information about the children and teens we serve, as well as the extensive training and comprehensive support UMFS offers to prospective foster parents. We’ll also discuss next steps if you choose to move forward—now or in the future; in addition to other ways individuals, businesses and churches can become community partners on behalf of youth in out-of-home care right here in Hampton Roads. If you are married or co-parenting with a significant other who lives in your home, we ask that both adults attend the session.
