Homeschool Garden Science at Norfolk Botanical Garden (Norfolk)

Join us for our May Homeschool Science Series! Recommended for children ages 6-11 with caregiver participation. All attending adults and children are required to have a registered ticket.
5/2: Garden Herbs – In this class, take a sensory tour of the WOW Children’s Garden, then plant seeds to grow your own delicious herb garden to grow at home.
5/9: Spring Flowers – Join us in the WOW Children’s Garden to explore the color, shapes, sizes, and smells of spring flowers, then plant your own flowers seeds to grow at home.
5/16: Watershed 101 – Meet in the WOW Children’s Garden to learn about the lifecycle of a raindrop, and then use an Enviroscape to explore the different ways you can protect watersheds.
5/23: World Turtle Day – To celebrate World Turtle Day, students will learn about the freshwater turtles who call the Garden home!
5/30: Spring Weather – Join us in the WOW Children’s Garden to learn the ins and outs of spring weather.
