Art on Wheels Kids Parade (Smithfield)

Join us for a parade of kids, for kids! The “Art on Wheels” parade will kick off the 2nd Annual Smithfield Arts Festival along Main Street. It is free to enter, but a registration, waiver and photo release are required. Kids are invited to decorate their bicycle, tricycle, wagon, scooter, kid car etc. in the artistic design of their choosing.
The parade will line up at the intersection of Cary Main Streets between 8:30 and 8:45 a.m. The parade begins at 9:00 a.m. and will travel east on Main Street toward the 200 block and end at the lot at the Smithfield Times for judging. 1st through 3rd place ribbons will be awarded to the top 3 Best in Show.
Applications are available at the Visitor Center located at 319 Main Street in downtown Smithfield.
