The Read Up Program at Up Center Books

I wanted to post and let you know about a great local program called Read Up from Up Center Books in Norfolk. Read Up encourages reading in local children from low-income families. You can stop into Up Center Books and buy books for these children at the following prices:

Chapter Books $1.95 each
Picture Books $.95 each
The children participating in the Read Up program will be able to choose a free book each week for 6 weeks beginning November 5th.
All children who participate in this program are members of The Up Center’s Team Up Mentoring Program.
If you go to Up Center Books and purchase a book for this program you will receive 25% off any other books you buy. Please help spread the word so that Up Center Books can reach 78 books before the program starts in November!
