Foster Care Aware Block Party

Are you a foster parent? Are you considering becoming a foster parent? I worked with foster youth and foster families for years, and I can’t even begin to tell you how important a foster parent can be in the life of a child. Some of the most amazing people I have known have been foster parents, and foster youth! 

Where: Harrison Opera House, 160 W. Virginia Beach Blvd. Norfolk VA

When: Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 1-4pm

Cost: Free and open to the public
Description: Have you ever thought about becoming a foster parent or respite care provider? Come learn about foster care in Hampton Roads and help us celebrate the heroes in our community who are making a difference one child at a time! 

Held at the Harrison Opera House on May 12th from 1pm-4pm, this family-friendly event is FREE and open to the public. Dress like a superhero, get your face painted, play in the bounce house and enjoy food, fun and freebies! We’ll see you there.
