It is officially SUMMER and that meals summer meals provided for kids through the USDA’s Summer Feeding Program. Listed below you can find the plan for each local city (in addition to the link where we found the info so you can check for updates) for providing food to their students.

Hampton Parks Recreation and Leisure Services is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), disability or age, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals will be provided on a First Come, First Served basis.

- The Suffolk Public Library has brought back their Lunch and More Mess Hall program.
- Suffolk Public Library runs the program in partnership with No Kid Hungry and the Virginia Department of Education. Free lunches are provided for all children under 18 on a first come, first served basis. Kids are invited to make a craft, explore something new, and enjoy a free lunch at Morgan Memorial Library.
