Military Families- Discount at Children’s Museum on Saturday!

In celebration of the Coast Guard’s Birthday Celebration on Saturday August 4, 2012 there will be special admission rates for Military and their families at the Children’s Museum of Virginia.

Military (Active Duty, Retired and their families) will be able to get in to the Children’s Museum for just $5 per person (up to 4 people) when they show their military ID between the hours of 10am-5pm.

According to the Children’s Museum of VA website the event will include:

10:00 a.m.- Street Festival Rides, slides and family fun all day long including special activities at the Naval Shipyard Museum & Lightship PORTSMOUTH High & Water Streets

4:00 p.m. – Admirals’ Salute, High Street Landing Flagpole Stage

4.30 – 6.30 p.m. – Closing Concert featuring the Deloreans,
High Street Landing Flagpole Stage
