Kids' Kindle Book: Where did all the pumpkins go?

Amazon Description: What if all the pumpkins are gone in the evening of All Saints’ Day?

And Oh no … the younger brother who disguised as a pumpkin disappeared too…

It was a noisy, merry evening in the small, cozy town. In each yard on this evening there was a lit Jack-o’-lantern and ghosts and skeletons are walking along the street. It is the evening of All Saints’ Day. On this day, it is possible to dress up in any costume, wear a mask, and go for a walk late to collect sweets!

Emma, a red-haired little girl of eight years old, waited impatiently for the evening of All Saints’ Day. She was very fond of sweets and so today, she wanted to collect as many candies as possible! Emma had a little brother called John. He was a cheerful and inquisitive child. That’s why funny things happened to him. John sat in front of the door and was dressed in a Halloween pumpkin fancy dress costume. Emma waited impatiently for the dark night to fall on the town.

But something strange happened this evening, and everything went wrong… All the pumpkins on the whole street had disappeared. Her brother John was gone too.

Most days we post a link to a free (at time of post) Kindle download for kids/young adults. One of the most important things we can do as parents is read with our kids! Exposure to reading can help children with early literacy and pave the way for success in school (and beyond!) as they get older.

Our hope is that these posts will help keep your digital library fresh with new material perfect for bedtime reading with babies, toddlers, preschoolers, school-aged, and even teens. You do not need a kindle to download or read these books with your child, just download the Kindle App to your device, or use the Kindle Cloud Reader on your computer.
