Happy National Donut Day!

ndd12.jpg

Did you know that National Donut Day is a celebration that started with The Salvation Army in 1938 as a way to honor the women who served donuts to servicemen during the War?

Many Donut locations are celebrating, here are a few:

  • Dunkin Donuts will give you a free donut with any beverage purchase.
  • Krispy Kreme will give you a free donut of any variety, no purchase necessary.
  • O’doodledoo’s Donuts is coordinating a donut donation to the military through Suffolk Army Reserve. If you donate 50 cents it will buy a O’doodledoo’s Donut for a service member.

Do you know of another donut shop in Hampton Roads that is celebrating? Comment below and we’ll add it to the list!!
