Featured Camp: Pearl Academy Summer Bridge

Interested in exploring homeschool programming for your active child? Pink Pearl Gymnastics is offering an introductory Summer Bridge homeschool experience through its Pearl Academy program this summer!

The all-day Summer Bridge program is set up so that students can catch up on school topics from last year and preview topics for the next year. This new homeschool program is designed to let parents try homeschooling over the summer before making a commitment for the upcoming school year.

If you want your child to spend quality time in a school classroom environment having fun, getting fit, and learning new things then Pink Pearl Gymnastics’ Pearl Academy is your answer! Your child will be assessed to their current level and brought up to where they need to be going into the first or second semester of public school.

Pearl Academy’s Summer Bridge program runs Monday – Friday from 8:30am – 4pm. There will be two four-week sessions, July 5 – July 28, 2023 and July 31 – August 25, 2023. Each session costs $550 for the month.

About Pink Pearl Gymnastics/Pearl Academy: Pink Pearl Gymnastics has been teaching Gymnastics to local students since 2007. Over the years we have motivated our students and followed their school progress with their parents. Since the COVID epidemic, we personally have seen the struggles of our students to keep up with their school work.

Our Head coach at Pink Pearl Gymnastics has her M Ed. in literature and language; because of her education level and her gymnastics competitive career, she was enticed away from teaching grade school and asked to teach competitive gymnastics. After moving to America and working for a local competitive gym she opened Pink Pearl Gymnastics.

Concern for the children of our gym caused us to open Pearl Academy where we will combine athletics (gymnastics nature) into learning grade school level subjects. At Pink Pearl we decided to purchase a top-of-the-line curriculum and offer our facility as a homeschooling program. Anyone who chooses our summer program gets to try homeschooling, and if it is right for them, we will offer this program for the school year. We think this is a great way to find out if homeschooling is right for you.
