Featured Camp: ODU Big Blue Summer Camp
The ODU Big Blue Summer Camp provides quality programs that develop youth ages six to 12, strengthen and support families, and create health and wellness for all. They focus on helping campers develop friendship skills, independence, teamwork, family citizenship, competence, interest in exploration, responsibility, affinity for nature and confidence in problem solving.
In 2022, camps are offered each week from June 21 to August 5 at the Old Dominion University Student Recreation Center. Youth can participate in fun, traditional summer camp activities each week including arts and crafts, swimming, and learning. However, they do offer some weeks that are themed! This year’s themed weeks include the
- Tidewater Writing Camp is offered from June 27 to July 1, and July 25 to 29.
- Monarch Culinary Camp is offered from July 11 to 15, and July 18 to 22.
Join the fun at Old Dominion University this summer! Register online before April 15 to have the $25 admin fee waived.
