This event sounds like a blast! For the first time, the City of Norfolk and Virginia Symphony Orchestra are hosting a commUNITY Play-In and Sing-Along!
When: Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 4:30-6pm. Check in starts at 3:15. Optional rehearsal of “Ode to Joy” 4:00-4:15.
Where: Decker Half Moone Center, Norfolk VA
Cost: Free and Open to the Public. (Spaces are limited by instrument section for orchestra seating)
Description: Bring your instrument – whether voice or violin, guitar or trumpet – and perform alongside the musicians of the Virginia Symphony Orchestra and VSO Chorus for this first-ever community concert!
• All skill levels welcome: vocal, melody-only instrumental & orchestral parts available
• Download music when you register and print to bring with you
• Bring personal instrument and music stand
