This one is for the BOYS! The 2018 Chesapeake Commonwealth Attorney's Boys' Leadership Conference "Take It To The Next Level".
Where: Oscar Smith Middle School, 2500 Rodgers Street, Chesapeake VA
When: March 24, 2018 from 8:30am-1pm
Cost: Free and open to the public. Registration is required by Monday, March 12, 2018. No walk-ins will be allowed.
Description: The conference will feature workshops for boys ages 10-18 as well as their parents/guardians. The workshops for the boys will help them in avoiding the negative consequences of relationship violence, standing up against bullying, and assist them in making wise money choices. Parent and guardian workshops will include information on how to spend time as a family away from technology and recognizing the signs of substance abuse in young people in light of the current opioid epidemic. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all attendees.
